Here is our much loved fishing boat, it is well looked after great safe sea boat we have done loads of work on her, injection pump and injectors all serviced by Hickleys 18 months ago.
The engine is a Ford Dorset 2712e .
12 months ago we replaced the prop shaft and prop. We also replaced the stern tube with a new fibre glass one, fitted a new Cutless bearing and a new python drive which is all lubricated by water so there are many years ahead of not having to replace the Cutless bearing. A new diesel tank and fuel lines have been fitted.
We had the gear box serviced by Sea Horse Marine, all done professionally. The engine mounts were replaced at the same time. The winch is new and it has a vhf radio / fish finder with a chart plotter on it.
There is a double hob and grill which is disconnected as we have a single fast boil hob fitted and the is a large solar panel and a sink with 12 volt water supply.
Twin leisure batteries / twin heavy duty starting batteries/ 3 electric bilge pumps and one manual one .
The boat is completely water tight, it starts on the button every time and has never let us down.
I’m sure there are many things I have forgotten to mention. I’m sadly selling because I have purchased a property which is a major renovation project so all my time will be taken up for a year or two. The boat is in Watchet Marina in West Somerset and sea trials by arrangement, when the tides are ok. The boat can be started at any time in the Marina as long as the marina gate is working .
