Rose Leaf was built around 1910 and is one of the last surviving Fifie yawls.

She has both engine and sail - a traditional dipping lug, mast and sail included, and a Lister inboard 2 cyclinder diesel engine. The hull is clinker built but at some point in the past was sheathed with fibreglass. The glass is adhering well and in pretty good shape, but ultimately she'd benefit from this being removed and planking being repaired or replaced. For now though, sound and watertight as is.

A lot of work was done around 2014, deck beams and deck replaced, some planking. Shes deteriorated somewhat over the years since then - the deck leaks pretty much everywhere, there's some rot around the coamings, the top plank was damaged by a boat that slipped it's moorings. Coping iron is rusty and will need replacing in places. This is a boat in need of some attention and care, but nothing crazy or prohibitive. She just needs someone with time/space and enthusiasm.

Most recent photos are the two green ones where she's a bit scruffy - from the day of posting this advert.
